The first Seguine Cacao Auction unveils a curated collection of exceptional cacao lots from across the world, each meticulously evaluated for flavour, consistency, and potential in fine chocolate.
Experience the distinctive character of Guatemalan, Indonesian, Costa Rican, Mexican, and Thai cacao, cultivated by dedicated smallholder producers, celebrated as past Cacao of Excellence Award winners, and representing thousands of cacao farmers.
This inaugural event offers discerning buyers an exclusive opportunity to acquire traceable micro-lots through a transparent and professionally managed platform, while championing producer visibility and a more equitable cacao value chain.
Presented in partnership with Chocoa, Daarnhouwer & Co., and the Cacao of Excellence Programme, the Seguine Cacao Auction is named in honour of Ed Seguine, a lifelong champion of cacao farmers, and the endless diversity of cacao flavours. Ed Seguine believed that true excellence in cacao begins with respect — for the farmer, the craft, and the relationships that connect them.
